Llewellin Setter Dams:
Fox River Tessa
Tessa is a tri-color Llewellin Setter, about 45 lbs and the most natural hunting dog that I’ve ever owned. She is a natural backer and retriever and hunts with a passion and to please. She is close working and points with a ten o’clock tail. She has had several litters of pups with excellent feedback from the owners.
Chiausi Laurel Mt. Seneca
Seneca is a lovely Blue Belton Llewellin Setter. She is a hard-charging bird dog with great prey drive. She likes to cuddle on the couch at night but when headed to the woods and fields, she kicks in the after burners and is a joy to watch hunt—just awesome! She is the second coming of Tessa, and I couldn't ask for anything more.
English Setter Dams:
Fox River Megan
Megan is a Blue Belton, weighing 55lbs. She points with a high tail and works close. She is a classic Grouse dog.
Fox River Jenny
Jenny is my field trial dog who was too old to run in puppy stakes when I got her in to trials so I started her in derby trials in the 06-07 season. She was handled by Jeff Wagoner of Rolling Hills Kennels of Brimfield Illinois who took her to one first place win, one second place and two third places in open derby and I ran her and took one second place in the amateur derby. These were all horse back trials and she now has moved up to shooting dog trials and as of Jan. '08 had one third place finish. Jenny is from Takoa lines and is a smaller 40lb. big running dog. She stands very tall on point, head up and a twelve O’clock tail. She is a very sweet orange belton, who I will only breed with field trial champions. Jenny's Pedigree.
Chesapeake Bay Retriever Dams:
Chiausi's Fox Island Casey
Casey is a mild mannered chessie that wants to retrieve all day long and at full speed, going and returning. Casey has been bred to Cody with pups expected in early May 2011. See the puppies page for more information.
